Standing stone in Clonmeen South, garryduff (clanmallagh By.) is an unlocated low pillarstone on a hillock near Clonmeen or Clonin graveyard in County Laois. H. Roe wrote that it marked the entrance to a cave, yet she found no cave and no local memory of one. The stone may have stood at a lost opening, a hidden hollow, or a boundary between the living field and the dead ground beside the graveyard. Its absence from modern notice does not remove it from the land; it withdraws the place into the kind of memory that resists investigation.

Unlocated standing stone within townland mentioned by H. Roe in her unpublished report entitled 'A record of archaeological discovery', p. 7. Described by Roe as'To the northwest of Errill, in the townland of Garryduff, near Clonmeen or Clonin graveyard (LA027-001001-),is a "low pillarstone standing on a hillock marking the entrance to a cave". On investigation I was unable to locate any cave nor could I get any local information about the existence of one in the neighbourhood' (Roe, p. 7).
