Stand in the field beside the circular enclosure and touch the broken quartz fragments still scattered at the fence. The standing stone was tall enough to mark the place, then human hands or time brought it down. What remains is not a complete monument but a sharp reminder that even visible things can be lost.

Bowman (1934, 449) recorded standing stone in same field as circular enclosure (13512); 'This was broken many years ago. Fragments (quartz) are still at side of fence'. Exact location not known.
