What is recorded here

Standing stone in Cinn Aird Thoir (tc Cinn Aird) is a broken upright on a north-facing slope below Carrigavinnaun, leaning slightly west of the townland boundary. It rises 1.2m from a base 1.6m long and 0.5m wide, its top snapped clean as if struck or shed in a storm no one remembered. People may have set it there to mark a path, a burial, or a promise made under open sky. Whatever it recorded has faded, but the stone still holds its angle against the hill, waiting to be read by someone who stops walking.

This stone stands on a N facing slope below Carrigavinnaun, a few metres W of the townland boundary. It is 1.2m high and 1.6m x .5m at base; N-S.
