What is recorded here

Standing stone in Church Hill rises half a metre above the ruined house in County Cork, a flat-backed wedge tapering to a rounded point. It may have marked a boundary, a burial or a worship place before the house existed. The garden has forgotten its purpose, but the stone still refuses to be moved or explained.

In front garden of ruined house (Church Hill). Stone (H 0.8m; 0.4m x 0.6m) is rectangular in plan, tapering to rounded point on top.
