What is recorded here
No one knows the exact years the stone stood in Ceann Droma, but it outlived every hand that may have touched it. It is the kind of marker people forget and stones remember, holding a line of sight or a boundary long after the names disappeared.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
