Standing stone in Castlefarm

Barnanenagh Fort still stands beside a triangular limestone pillar marked with white quartzite streaks. The stone rises eight feet above ordinary farmland, thin enough at its base to suggest human hands shaped it rather than raw glacier force. It may have marked a boundary, a burial or a warning, yet no written account preserves that purpose. The pillar still points north-east like a forgotten finger, waiting for someone to remember what it accused or protected.
