Standing stone in Carhoogarriff (carbery W. (w.d.) By.) stands 0.9m tall in a Cork pasture, leaning slightly south on a slope shadowed by low hills to the west and north. Its rectangular body faces east and west like a marker set for passage rather than display. People may have passed it while moving stock, reading weather in the grass or remembering someone the land had taken.

In pasture, on a S-facing slope with low hills to the W and N and undulating farmland elsewhere. This standing stone (0.55m x 0.45m; H 0.9m) is roughly rectangular in plan and section and is orientated E-W. The stone leans slightly to the S.
