Situated at the base of a SE-facing slope in poorly drained pasture. Overlooked by Knockea Hill to NE, by a hill in Ballynagarde townland to SE and with good views to S. Upright irregular-shaped limestone (H 0.8m; Wth. 0.4-0.6m) in a gentle depression defined by a scarp edge (D 0.2m; Wth. 0.8m). Fissured and lichen-covered, well rubbed by cattle in places.
