On a ridge in Bellanascaddan, a stone stands 1.72m high, 1.1m wide and 0.97m thick, pointing east-west across good land. It is the kind of place where people may have marked boundary, ceremony or memory before written records existed. The ridge carries wind from both seas, and the stone remains visible because it was set where visibility mattered.

A standing stone 1.72m high × 1.1m wide × 0.97m thick; E-W. Situated in good land on the crest of a NE-SW running ridge.
