What is recorded here

Bawnmore holds a one-metre rectangular stone, tilted slightly along a northeast-southwest line in open pasture. It is small enough to overlook, yet distinct enough to have escaped burial or reuse. The land around it has changed from handler to handler, but the stone has remained visible, marking the field and resisting the ordinary forgetfulness that consumes most human traces.

In level pasture. Stone (H 1m; 0.3m x 0.2m) is subrectangular in plan, long axis NE-SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
