What is recorded here

A standing stone situated on the lower S slopes of the central mountain ridge, overlooking the Anascaul valley to S and the narrow valley that lies N of Flemingstown mountain to E. It is trapezoidal in plan at base, the sides measuring .6m, .8m, .52m and .8m. They taper slightly towards the top where, at 2.5m above the ground, the stone measures .4m x .1m. About 400m further uphill to N are 2 boulders decorated with rock art motifs (KE045-003----). The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
