Standing stone in Ballycuddy

Ballycuddy holds a rounded conglomerate boulder, one metre tall and ninety centimetres wide, beside a rath in open pastureland. The stone may mark an old boundary or simply be a glacial leftover, yet its oval shape and steady presence suggest human attention. A person may have pointed at it during a storm, named it without writing, or left it alone because it belonged to the land. Either way, it still stands where the grass grows and the rath waits forty-five metres east.
