Bawn in Deerpark (kilchreest Ed) is a bawn in County Galway, Ireland. Perhaps the stones stood guard over a household that vanished before memory faded. Maybe the preservation order arrived only after the field had already forgotten the name of its keeper. Imagine a door hidden beneath grass, waiting for hands bold enough to push it open.
