The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic long barrow with associated cists and a cinerary urn, dating to the early to middle Neolithic period. The site is significant as a rare example of mortuary practices and ritual deposition in the Scottish landscape.
