St. Senan was a 6th-century Irish monk and bishop associated with several holy sites in Munster, including Scattery Island and Kinvara. While specific traditions linked to St. Senan's Altar at Tullaher are not well documented, such sites were often places of pilgrimage and veneration, with local folklore attributing healing properties to associated wells or relics.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
