On roadside c. 410m N of a church (GA081-005001-). It consists of an unenclosed natural spring in a rock cleft. (Killanin and Duignan 1967, 379; Killanin 1947, 122) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'.
