In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Town known to have had mills since pre-Norman times. Existing rectangular structure has no diagnostic features. (Bradley 1989, 56; JRSAI 1892, 383)
