St Mary's Catholic Church in Ballincrostig was built in two parts, with one section dated to July 1804 and the main construction completed in 1830. It is a cruciform church with a long east-west axis, featuring pointed window openings and sash windows with switch line tracery, and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, reflecting the Catholic tradition in the area.
