St Maik's Well, Drumoak, is associated with St Maik (or Maughold), a 6th-century Irish saint linked to the Isle of Man but venerated in parts of Scotland. The well was traditionally visited for healing and as part of seasonal rituals, with water collected for its supposed curative properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes and skin.
