St. Kevins Bed is a narrow vertical cavity cut into the steep rocky cliff-face on the NW foothills of Slievecorragh. Tradition holds the saint slept inside this stone pocket, trusting the mountain more than a built chapel. The cave still stands as a small bed carved by weather, waiting for someone brave enough to lie back and listen for the echo of that first lonely prayer.
