At crossroads in Ovens. Cruciform church, long axis of nave E-W, with chancel to W. According to Lewis (1837, vol. 1, 89) 'erected in 1835, is a handsome edifice of hewn limestone, in the mixed Gothic and Grecian styles of architecture'. Lit by tall round-headed windows framed by shallow recesson exterior elevations and linked by string course. Pedimented gables withblind oculi; small bellcote atop E gable. Flat plaster ceiling inside; wooden galleries in both arms and at E end. Fine classical reredos behind altar at W end, very similar to reredos at Grenagh (CO051-111003-); interior remodelled in mid-1980s and reredos removed.
