St. Bridgets Well is a holy well in County Carlow, Ireland, situated east of the church dedicated to St Bridget. The water likely sustained life and memory long before concrete sealed the opening, yet the covering erases the exact moment the well stopped giving itself to humans.

St. Bridget’s Well is associated with the veneration of St. Brigid of Kildare, a prominent early Irish Christian saint linked to healing and fertility. Traditionally, the well was visited for its supposed curative properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes and female infertility, and it may have absorbed pre-Christian ritual significance connected to water as a source of life and renewal.
