St. Bridgets Well (Site of)

Situated on the N bank of a stream in marshy ground, to the E of 'St Bridget's Chair' (WI027-031002-) and 'St Bridget's Head Stone' (WI027-031001-). No visible remains. May have been associated with the ecclesiastical site at Colvinstown Upper (WI027-034001-) 700m to the SW. St. Bridget's Well is associated with St. Brigid of Kildare, a prominent early Irish Christian saint linked to fertility, healing, and protection.
