St. Bridget’s Well is associated with St. Brigid of Kildare, a revered Irish saint linked to healing, fertility, and protection. Traditionally, the well may have been visited for its curative waters, particularly for ailments of the eyes and childbirth-related issues, with rituals often performed at dawn or on significant feast days.
