St. Anns Well

St. Anne's Well in the parish of Raheny is a natural spring well is situated at the base of a ridge in St. Anne's Park. It has an elaborate rustic covering with a stone-lined access way. St. Anne's Well is associated with St. Anne, the mother of the Virgin Mary, and was historically visited for its supposed healing properties, particularly for women's ailments and fertility issues. The well's rustic stone construction and location within St. Anne's Park reflect its longstanding role in local Catholic devotion and pilgrimage traditions.
