What is recorded here

Carved limestone gate piers, erected c.1750. Comprising of pair of Corinthian columns supporting pair of cast-iron gates, flanked by cast-iron railings set on plinths. Second set of limestone gate piers to east. Gate lodge, now in ruins, to the site.
The carved capitals of this pair of Corinthian columns are well executed and add artistic interest to the entrance. These gates, gate piers and railings form part of an interesting group of demesne related structures with Spring Valley House, outbuildings, and the former gate lodge to the site.
