The Sound of Shuna is a coastal inlet in Argyll and Bute, characterized by steep sea cliffs and rocky shores, primarily composed of Devonian sandstone and shale. These rocks formed around 400 million years ago through sedimentation in ancient river and delta systems, and the area is notable for its dramatic coastal scenery and geological exposure.
