SMS Markgraf was a German pre-dreadnought battleship of the Kaiserliche Marine, launched in 1898. It was lost on 15 October 1914 during the Battle of the Gulf of Riga in World War I, struck by a mine and later scuttled; 160 of its 670 crew were killed.
