Sloc Mòr is a coastal bay featuring sea cliffs composed primarily of Devonian sandstone, formed around 400 to 360 million years ago through sedimentary deposition in ancient river and delta systems. The area is notable for its well-exposed rock formations that provide insight into the geological history of western Scotland.
