What is recorded here

Skate Point is a coastal headland composed primarily of Devonian sandstone, formed around 400 to 360 million years ago through sedimentary deposition in a shallow marine environment. The rock is notable for its resistance to erosion, which has allowed the headland to persist as a prominent coastal feature in North Ayrshire.
