Killarney Burial Ground disappeared completely, leaving no visible trace of its circular shape or approximate fifty-metre diameter. The 1846 Ordnance Survey map captured the vanished site with a dotted line, preserving the memory of a place already lost to human sight. What remained was a ghost on paper, a circular absence where dead people once rested beneath the soil of County Kerry.

There are no visible remains of the circular burial ground (diam. c. 50m) which is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map by a dotted line and is named '(site of) Killarney Burial Ground'.
