Marked faintly as a rectangular structure (dims. c. 12m E-W; c. 6m N-S) inside a faintly depicted graveyard (dims. c. 30m N-S; c. 30m E-W) and described as 'site of Chapel and Burial Gd.' in italic lettering on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated in a shallow W-E valley in the E-facing foothills of Slievecoilte with a N-S stream c. 170m to the E. It is not visible at ground level in pasture but it is described locally as a cairn of material that was removed c. 1970 when a granite bullaun stone (dims 0.5m x 0.4m; H 0.25m) with one basin (diam. 0.23m; D 0.12m) and a fragment of a late medieval window sill in a green stone were recovered. Enclosure (WX034-037----) is c. 110m to the N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
