Silchester Amphitheatre is a well-preserved Roman amphitheatre dating to the 2nd century AD, located in Hampshire. It is one of the best examples of Roman military amphitheatres in Britain and was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles by the Roman garrison at Silchester (Calleva).
