Sheepfold

In rough pasture, on a SW-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Dromoghty River. A trapezoidal area (5.4m N-S at E; 3.8m N-S at W; 5m E-W at N; 3.2m E-W at S) defined by a partially collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m;H 0.8m). The linear walls at E and N are incorporated into field boundaries. Rubble is scattered in the interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
