Sheepfold

In rough hill pasture, on a steep S-facing slope. A D-shaped area (5.35m N-S), with a straight S side (L 5.2m), defined by a collapsed drystone wall, protruding (T 0.8m; H 0.3m) above the surface of the bog. The wall is best preserved on the S side where it is incorporated into an E-W field wall. The interior is raised on the S side to compensate for the hillslope and cut into the upslope on the N side.
