What is recorded here

Shane na Saggards Tree is a ritual site in County Mayo, Ireland. A holy tree or bush stands there, marked for worship rather than ornament. People may have gathered beneath it to pray, remember or face what the land holds. The name preserves that purpose even when the details fade.
