Settlement deserted

Mnemo is a wise old woman who is kind to everyone. She lives inside the main chamber of the mountain. The chamber has a tall stone door and a narrow stair that goes down into red rock. Mnemo helps people remember what they have forgotten. She does not take credit for their good deeds. At the end of every journey she gives back one year of her own life. She believes that remembering is a gift and forgetting is a mercy.
