Seskin Ho. in ruins

Situated on the S side of a system of small fields enclosed by high, well- constructed walls known as 'the Orchard', of 18th- and 19th-century date. Raised square platform (dims. 50m x 50m; H 0.8m) known locally as the site of a fortified house built c. 1700 by Colonel Percy and marked 'Seskin House (in Ruins)' on the 1838 OS 6-inch map.
