What is recorded here

Scurth is a sea cliff composed primarily of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 340 to 320 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. The cliff is notable for its exposure of durable limestone strata that have resisted erosion to some extent, providing a local example of the geological formations characteristic of the region's coastal landscape.
