Saltwick Nab is a prominent headland composed mainly of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 315 to 360 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. It is notable for its dramatic coastal scenery and as a key geographical feature in the Cleveland Hills area of North Yorkshire.
