What is recorded here

Freestanding mausoleum, erected c. 1825, comprising pitched slate roof and rendered random rubble sandstone walls. Pointed arch limestone plaques to front façade, one having engraved lettering. Loop light to rear façade. Pointed arch door opening with cut sandstone surround, now bricked up, having cut sandstone steps descending to entrance.
This mausoleum was built for the Givens family and, though simple in form and execution, is a valuable reminder of the social importance attached to this church site. Its presence in the graveyard adds further variety to the collection of grave markers.
