Graveyard with remains of cut-stone grave markers, c.1200 - c.1900.(ii) Gateway, c.1850, to south-east comprising wrought iron gate with sections of wrought iron flanking railings on unpainted roughcast plinth with random rubble stone boundary wall to perimeter of site.

A site of considerable importance, having been established in the early thirteenth century as a graveyard, although few markers survive to the present. The graveyard forms a picturesque feature in the townscape of Waterford City.
