Saint Mary's Well, holy well in County Kerry

Saint Mary's Well in Killarney hides behind the town hall, inside a round stone building with steps down to the water. Even divine assistance has a back entrance here. At the front they'd have you filling in a form to explain the miracle.

Freestanding circular-plan single-bay single-storey stone-built building over holy well, built c. 1850, with square-headed door opening having flight of internal steps down to well. Reroofed in late twentieth century. Set at rear of town hall.
