Detached five-bay two-storey over basement country house, c.1850, with advanced central bay having projecting entrance porch. Pierced balustrade conceals the basement and continues to the walled garden. Curved corridor to rear right-hand side leading to former conservatory, c.1890, now demolished. Former home of the painter Nathaniel Hone the Younger.ROOF: Hidden behind parapet wall with two nap rendered corniced chimney stacks. WALLS: Nap rendered with quoins and granite entrance porch; cornice and string course; central three bays to rear in a shallow bow. OPENINGS: Square headed openings with nap rendered architrave and bracket cornice; granite cills; timber sash windows.
