A cricket pavilion erected to a design by John McCurdy (c.1824-85) of Leinster Street, Dublin (Atwood 1933, 57), not only contributing positively to the group and setting values of the Saint Columba's College complex, but also clearly illustrating the continued development or "improvement" of the complex in the mid nineteenth century.
