Rubha Ghràlais is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature located in the Outer Hebrides, likely composed of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rocks in the UK, dating back over 2700 million years. These rocks formed through high-grade metamorphism of ancient igneous and sedimentary rocks and are notable for their durability and significance in understanding the early geological history of the British Isles.
