What is recorded here
Rubha Claidhe is shown as a headland on the public map of Na h-Eileanan Siar. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
Rubha Claidhe is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature located in the Outer Hebrides, likely composed of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rocks in Scotland, dating back over 2,700 million years. These metamorphic rocks formed deep within the Earth's crust through intense heat and pressure, and were later exposed by erosion, making the area geologically significant.
