St Ronan, also known as Ronan of Rona, was a 6th-century Irish monk and saint traditionally associated with the island of Rona in the Scottish Inner Hebrides. He is venerated for his role in early Christian missionary work in the region, and holy wells and crosses linked to him often feature in local traditions of healing and pilgrimage.
