Roman Forum, Chichester slate plaque

This slate commemorative plaque records: The Roman Masonry in this corner was found near the city centre beneath North West and East Street. The fragments came from large Roman public buildings one of which may have been the Forum. Placed here by The Little London Area Residents Association December 1981 Recorded plaque organisation: The Little London Area Residents Association.
