Rockchapel Burial Ground is a graveyard in County Cork, Ireland. The name suggests a rocky shelter where the dead were laid to rest, perhaps beneath a natural arch or cliff ledge. People may have chosen the site because the stone marked a boundary between the living world and the unknown. The place still belongs to memory, even when no monument remains visible.
